NextGen Team

Taylor is a Kansas City native and began his career as an apprentice for a major construction firm. His work ethic and precision in his craft launched him into becoming a foreman of his own crew and now, after twelve years of experience, Taylor is passionate about elevating the remodeling industry. He is dedicated to investing in training the next generation of home remodelers. Since starting NextGen in 2019, Taylor has been committed to building a company that embodies excellence and innovation, shattering the status quo of remodeling, redefining the industry, and becoming the Next Generation.

With an extensive background in real estate and remodeling, Alex joined NextGen as one of the first team members in 2019. Before joining NextGen, he and his father acquired and remodeled hundreds of properties, restoring and enhancing them for resale. Now, Alex enjoys helping clients see a vision for their project and understand the process so that they feel at ease and are able to maximize the potential within their budget. From initial visit and estimate, Alex likes to envision every project as if it were his own and strives to give homeowners careful guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Native to the Kansas City metro, Kathy has been part of NextGen since the beginning. She is an integral part of the team as she is involved in the entire process from the first call to the final warranty. She loves the variety that each new project brings and being behind the scenes every step of the way. Kathy goes above and beyond to provide customer care for every client to get the remodel of their dreams while making it easy, fun, and as smooth as possible.

Ashley joined NextGen Remodeling as our Lead Designer, bringing with her a lifelong passion for crafting spaces that are both beautiful and purposeful. Raised in Fairway, Kansas, she was inspired early on by her mom’s love of decorating and the way she made every house feel like a home. Ashley believes that your surroundings have a powerful effect on your mood, and she’s committed to helping clients design spaces that feel good to live in. Ashley earned her Associate of Arts degree from JCCC and studied Business Management at UMKC. She believes great design is always evolving, just like her passion for learning.

Jeremy is a KC native and has been with NextGen since 2020. In college he studied engineering, but he always had an interest in the remodeling industry that started from a young age. Growing up, he loved helping his dad with house projects and found a lot of satisfaction in hands-on work. To Jeremy, the best part about working with NextGen is the excitement that each day brings, being part of the transformation, and the reward of getting to see the final result.

Adrian grew up in the Lee’s Summit area and had his first taste for remodeling at age 7 when he helped a family member work on a bathroom remodel. Ever since his childhood he’s had a love for the industry and became a full time remodeler by the time he was 18. For more than 20 years he has been enjoying electrical work, carpentry, and painting. His favorite part of the job is seeing the customer’s reaction to the finished product.

Andrew has been part of the NextGen team since 2021 and has been in the remodeling industry for more than 8 years. His love for building things started from a young age as he grew up borrowing his neighbor’s tools to make skateboard ramps. Now, Andrew is an excellent installer and not only thrives in his remodeling skills but in building relationships and trust with homeowners. He loves the finish days of each project and seeing how everything has come together compared to where it started.

Tyler is originally from California, but relocated to the Kansas City area in 2023. In high school he worked on remodeling projects with family friends and began his career in construction in 2019. He has always enjoyed building things and working on the mechanical elements of a project. Although the job can sometimes be challenging, Tyler appreciates that it is also extremely rewarding.
