“The first time I called NextGen, they answered the phone immediately and were at our home a few days later to discuss our project. As we went forward, our particular project (we needed a new fireplace and wanted to move the wall it was in) became more complicated because of the changes we wanted to make and circumstances we found due to the way our house was originally built. From the initial home visit with Taylor and Alex, picking out materials with quality vendors, the work that Curtis and John did throughout the project, and the final walk-through with Taylor, the quality of care we received was unparalleled. 5 years ago we had our master bath shower remodeled by a large company and we’ve regretted it ever since. When we came across Nextgen Remodeling we jumped at the chance to work with a small, local business who would deliver quality service and stand by their work 100%. We had direct contact with owner Taylor, who was in charge of our timeline and making sure we had all the necessary materials, as well as Curtis, who was the Project Manager on our job. Curtis, and amazing assistant John, worked on our job non-stop for 2 weeks. They were professional and trustworthy, and became part of our daily routine (even our dog, Zoe, would sit at the front window and wait for them to arrive in the morning). Our situation was a bit unique since this remodel took place during the Covid-19 pandemic, but we would not have done anything differently. Curtis and John were diligent about practicing social distancing and disinfecting surfaces throughout the entire project. Our family felt safe and comfortable with them during our project and would welcome them back into our home any time. We wanted a top down, full remodel of our second full bathroom, and after receiving an amazing new space we cannot wait to have the guys come back and work on MANY other spaces! I work in the home improvement industry, have seen the good-bad-ugly, and looked for a long time to find the right company to take on a full restoration of our historic Brookside bungalow. NextGen completely remodeled our bathroom, kitchen, refinished and painted all walls in our home, among other things. The work they did was excellent quality; they never took short cuts that one would expect (fear) from many contractors. - They dedicated one crew to the project and these guys are great. Complete sense of ownership and pride in their work and the project, friendly, professional, cool guys. (We count them as friends, now.)
- We never had the issues we’ve had in the past of, “where is everyone today? Why didn’t anyone show up?” NextGen does an excellent job of balancing their projects so that we, as homeowners, never felt like we were getting second-class treatment. They were here – same guys – every day. This is HUGE.
- The guys kept an immaculate work space. Again, HUGE. (The last thing you want to see as a homeowner is the remodeling company treating your pride and joy like a dump.)
- NO shortcuts. Ever. There are always a number of ways to take shortcuts and the homeowner will never know. NextGen always did it right (I was on site every day…).
- Their pricing was fair.
