Not Your Standard White Kitchen

Our clients came to us looking to transform their dark and dated kitchen into a bright and elegant gathering space perfect for family and friends alike. We were confident that by reconfiguring the layout, updating materials, refinishing the hardwoods, and incorporating some color, we could create a dream space for both cooking and entertaining. Full inset custom white cabinets outline the perimeter of the kitchen, offering ample storage to keep cooking utensils, appliances, and more tucked away. A navy blue island boosts visual interest, while being a practical space for prep work and informal meals. Gold hardware gives the timeless color scheme a modern edge and adds an extra bit of flair. Some of our other favorite features include a marble backsplash, floating shelves, and under-cabinet lighting. The homeowners were so excited about the work we were doing that they hired us for their master bathroom as well, which we completed later the same year.

NextGen transformed our large 1980s kitchen into a thing of beauty. From the very start, Alex and Taylor were incredibly professional and detail-oriented in explaining the process and walking us through the steps that needed to happen before our project began. Then Daniel, our project manager, was so attentive to every detail throughout the remodel; he treated our kitchen as if it was his very own. Our four-year-old and two-year-old were so fond of him; they couldn't wait until ‘Mr. Daniel’ arrived every morning. With two very young kids, taking on a large kitchen remodel was maybe not the most practical life choice, but Daniel and his team took time every day to thoroughly pick up and clean the space. So, we actually didn't even fear our kids walking through it. We've been so impressed with the NextGen team; we've already booked them on our next big project: our master bath.
